Day 7

Today we paid the hotel and thanked them for everything, hailed a cab and begun our journey home. It was a little sad, recalling all the amazing memories the past few days had held, but I was excited to be home again. The plane ride home was smooth and relaxing, and as soon as we landed we were happy to see some friendly faces and familiar sights. I think me and Cooper can both agree that we will never forget our trip to Pamplona, Spain. Adios!

Day 6

We woke up super early today for an exciting day of, “Running with the Bulls”. A famous spanish tradition of an annual run around Pamplona. Everyone lines up and a herd of bulls are released into the crowd, you then must run from the bulls along a set out path past shops and homes, as you zoom past cheering crowds and other startled runners. As soon as the gun was fired Cooper and I sprinted past other runners and hurled ourselves toward the outer fences, and just in time too, a bull had just slammed into the fence as soon as we had scaled it. Nobody was badly injured, but i had a nasty cut on my left leg, but after a few painkillers and rest, I was feeling good as new.

Day 5

Today we slept in so we could catch up on our sleep, after we woke up we walked outside our hotel and straight into the cafe across the road. After a delicious lunch we headed back to the hotel and had a “lazy day”. We turned on the TV, listened to some classic mexican music, and ordered some famous spaniard deserts, such as churros and tortilla’s. After a long day of nothing, we turned in for the night, and prepared for the amazing day that would follow.

Day 4

We woke up late today because we were beat from yesterday at the beach. When we woke up it was raining, and the forecast predicted rain all day, so the beach was not an option. So instead we decide to go to the Navarre Museum. Experts had said it was cheap and very interesting. So we headed down to the museum and were not disappointed, it offered several interesting things, such as early prehistoric times and modern day technology, and the Navarre culture. After we were tired of the museum we headed home and hit the hay.

Day 3

Today we got up bright and early so we could make it to the beach. The car trip to the beach wasn’t to far away, but it wasn’t short either. The rest of the day we spent swimming, surfing, kicking soccer balls along the beach, and just relaxing. After a long day of fun we headed back to the hotel once again, and after a fun day at the beach, we were beat and went straight to bed.

Day 2

After our long day of sightseeing fun and late nights yesterday, we decided to take it easy today. After sleeping in this morning, we headed down to the complementary breakfast. The food was delicious and it gave us a better chance to look around the hotel.  After touring around the hotel we decided to once again hit the city. It was around lunch time so we decided to get some food. Walking around Spain we discovered a nice restaurant called the Bar Gaucho. A 4 star restaurant featuring the some of the finest food in Spain. The rest of the day we lost ourselves in the great city of Pamplona, and after another long day of travel, we headed back to the hotel.

First Day

Our plane has just landed and we have begun our journey in Spain. We have just checked into our hotel, “The Gran Hotel La Perla”. The hotel is amazing and offers many different fun activities for you to do in your free time, even though it was pretty expensive, considering it cost more than  1,000 us dollars for a full week stay. But you know how the saying goes, “go big or go home”.  After we checked into the hotel we went for some sightseeing around pamplona. We saw some things like the  Pamplonetario and the Town Hall. After our long day of wandering around Spain we decided to hit the hay. After all we have another long day tomorrow.

Plans

Today me and my friend have decided to go on a long awaited trip to Spain. Our life long dream of traveling to Spain will have finally been fulfilled. Our plane to Pampallona will leave on May the 31st. Until then its time to save up our euros and pack our bags. Along the trip we’ll see some of the most famous sights unique to spain and participate in some fun spanish cultures. We can’t wait!
